Various coping strategies can be used to help us cope with stress. A person that can effectively treat the stress that they have will use multiple coping strategies and not rely on things like alcohol and drugs, which can cause damage or harm to your body.
There are many causes of stress in the world. Some of these stress factors are positive and some are negative. Depending on the individual circumstances, different people are naturally going to have different levels of stress in their lives and at different times.
The best way of coping with stress is to avoid what is causing us stress. In our fast pace world it is very unlikely, or even desirable, that we will be able to avoid all stress. If we cannot avoid it then we must learn to manage it.
